Episode 030 - Simon Perkin

At 26, Simon Perkin was donating blood when he was flagged up as anaemic; following a raft of follow-up tests he was diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia. Thus began a journey that would see him come face to face with his mortality on more than one occasion, take responsibility for his own healing and fight his way back to health. Since then Simon has run the London Marathon and has just come back from Malaga where he represented GB in the World Transplant Games. His is a story of true courage, grit and gratitude.
